Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No, you don't have to provide your name or contact information. The quoting tool collects gender, date of birth, a health self-assessment, tobacco use status, target benefit, and term preference. These six fields are sufficient for the carriers to return their prices. Your name, address, health details, and email are only captured if you move forward with an application.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

Not necessarily. The rates displayed are what each carrier quoted for the health tier you selected. Your carrier sets the actual premium only after underwriting review, which may confirm, improve, or downgrade your health tier. Nothing shown here qualifies as an insurance offer or a price guarantee.

What happens when I click Apply?

You enter your name, and the application is assembled from the exact quote you picked, then opens on the carriers' secure platform. You're able to save your progress and return later. You sign electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, a California-licensed operation (License 0B75129), processes the full application.

Will I need a medical exam?

The requirement varies by carrier, coverage amount, and your health answers. Many carriers provide immediate decisions for applicants within age and amount thresholds; each quote tells you whether underwriting will likely need an exam, might request one, or won't require one.

Is a longer term better?

A term should span the years when losing your income would destabilize your household: a remaining mortgage, dependent children, business debt. Longer terms cost more monthly but fix your rate for longer. Use the quote tool to compare 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year options side by side.

Does this site sell my information?

We don't sell your information. The quoting tool doesn't ask for contact info; we have no data-selling operations, and our analytics don't track you. Visit our privacy page for the complete list of what gets collected and by whom.
